With over 120 convenient and free COVID-19 vaccination sites countywide, the \u201cI Got My Shot\u201d Communications Task Force is launching a targeted billboard campaign aimed to encourage residents to find a nearby location and to get vaccinated.<\/p>\n<p>Eighteen public service messages will go up on Monday, June 7, 2021 and remain in place for 12 weeks. The billboards will go where the data from the Florida Department of Health in Orange County show they are most needed based on vaccination rates in the area.<\/p>\n<p>Orange County Government collaborated with over 10 local physicians, four families and four places of worship for the creation, support and rollout of these billboards.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign\u2019s goal is to make all residents aware of the safety, convenience and benefits of receiving the vaccine as soon as possible to build \u201ccommunity immunity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHAT: <\/strong>An extension of the \u201cI Got My Shot\u201d public safety campaign, 18 print billboards will be displayed across Orange County to further encourage residents to get vaccinated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHEN: <\/strong>June 7, 2021 through August 29, 2021<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHO: <\/strong>Participants:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church of Pine Hills \u2013 Pine Hills<\/li>\n<li>Iglesia Episcopal Jesus de Nazaret \u2013 Azalea Park<\/li>\n<li>Rejoice in the Lord Ministries\u2014Apopka<\/li>\n<li>Grace Bible Church of Central Florida\u2014Orlando<\/li>\n<li>Reyes-Guardiola Family \u2013 Orlando<\/li>\n<li>Bryant Family \u2013 Winter Garden<\/li>\n<li>West-Quiroga Family&#8211; Longwood<\/li>\n<li>Cen Family\u2014Casselberry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>WHERE: <\/strong>Please email <a href=\"mailto:PIO@ocfl.net\">PIO@ocfl.net<\/a> for full list of locations.
