Demings, along with Lynx, Orlando Economic Partnership (The Partnership) and Visit Orlando officials revealed art covering a 60-foot LYNX bus today at the Orange County Administration Building. The bus is wrapped in images that support the Safer, Stronger, Together campaign that encourages businesses and residents to engage in recommended safety measures and be accountable for the safety of their community. The bus shows a diversity of images of people wearing masks and includes the #DoYourPartORL.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign was developed by the Partnership and Visit Orlando at the request of Mayor Demings to encourage businesses and residents to follow COVID-19 safety guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo get the word out, many of our businesses, large and small, media partners, and our community partners like LYNX have stepped up to help get the word out,\u201d said Mayor Demings. \u201cToday, we want to thank LYNX for providing a moving billboard for our important message by wrapping this high-capacity bus.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lynx is providing the bus wrap, free of charge, as part of its commitment to support economic development and recovery in the region. LYNX is the latest organization to provide in-kind services and assets to the Safer, Stronger, Together campaign which also includes public service announcements in local television, radio, print and outdoor media; donated advertising space from local corporate partners; publicity and social media programs to involve residents; and support from local businesses and regional associations to share the message on their own channels.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs an essential service, LYNX is committed to providing passengers access to jobs and services around the region. We are proud to support this effort to encourage all to take necessary safety precautions so we can be a part of the solution to return to economic stability as soon as possible,\u201d said LYNX CEO Jim Harrison.<\/p>\n<p>Businesses are encouraged to utilize tools at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.DoYourPartORL.com\">www.DoYourPartORL.com<\/a> to showcase how they\u2019re doing their part.
