<\/p>\nThe Water and Wastewater System of Orange County Utilities in Central Florida recently was awarded AAA ratings by S&P Global Ratings and Fitch Ratings for bonds issued in May 2025.<\/p>\n
These prestigious designations were earned in relation to the System\u2019s Series 2025 Water and Wastewater Utility Revenue Bonds that were recently sold due to the System\u2019s exceptionally strong financial profile. Both firms also affirmed their AAA ratings on the water utility system\u2019s existing outstanding debt.<\/p>\n

AAA is the highest possible rating from both S&P and Fitch. These ratings were issued after the county responded to a lengthy information request process from each firm and conducted a follow-up ratings call with each as well.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re pleased to have attained this AAA rating, once again, for Orange County Utilities,\u201d said Glenn Kramer, Manager of the Fiscal and Operational Support Division of Orange County Utilities. \u201cKeeping our financial ratings strong remains a top priority for our team,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Also involved in the rigorous and collaborative process were: \u00a0the Orange County Fiscal & Business Services Division, the Orange County Comptroller\u2019s Office; the Orange County Attorney\u2019s Office; financial advisory firm PFM Financial Advisors, LLC; bond counsel Nabors, Giblin & Nickerson; and disclosure counsel Greenberg Traurig.<\/p>\n
Orange County Utilities serves to a population of:\u00a0 855,000 water, 1.1 million wastewater, 400,000 reclaimed water and 675,000 residential solid waste customers.<\/p>\n
