With a shared set of beliefs and passion, their desire to help those in need has made a big impact in Orange County. They have served our community with valor and we thank each member of the distinguished Howell family for their extraordinary service.<\/li>\n<li>For many years, Rick Stanley has been building relationships with employers throughout the region to place inmates in jobs after they serve their time. As he prepares to retire from our Orange County Corrections Department, we honor him for the hardworking and inspirational individual that he is.<\/li>\n<li>Gloria Yepes began her career with Orange County as a part-time parks employee. Since then, she has risen through the ranks of our Parks and Recreation Division, creating success and excitement where ever she goes. She strives to inspire children and families to participate and learn about our community through our many programs. Orange County values her humility and caring attitude.<\/li>\n<li>As a patient assistant in our Orange County Medical Clinic, Carrie Johnson helps to serve uninsured and needy patients. She brings kindness and compassion to her service, working tirelessly to help patients obtain special medicines and gain entry into pharmaceutical assistance programs. Orange County applauds her for her generosity to help those who are truly in need.<\/li>\n<li>Serving in our Public Works Department, William Ross has been instrumental in helping Orange County return to normal after disastrous situations. Recently, he found a live grenade in a retention pond and was able to safely remove it without incident. William has also restored services in the community after hurricanes and severe storms, and has improved our neighborhoods with his hardworking attitude and quick thinking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cWe express our appreciation to Orange County employees, volunteers, and public servants at all levels of government and society,\u201d the proclamation read. \u201cTogether, we call on all citizens throughout Orange County to recognize the contributions of the many public servants providing service to the families and visitors of Orange County and to take pride in their
