Applications and supporting materials will be accepted through the County\u2019s website, <a href=\"https:\/\/netapps.ocfl.net\/arctdtgrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/netapps.ocfl.net\/arctdtgrants<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For consideration, qualified applicants <strong><em>must<\/em> <\/strong>meet the following minimum requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The capital project grant request should be for $2 million or more toward a project for the acquisition, construction, and renovation of eligible facilities<\/li>\n<li>The project must meet the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.leg.state.fl.us\/Statutes\/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&amp;Search_String=&amp;URL=0100-0199\/0125\/Sections\/0125.0104.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statutory guidelines for uses of Tourist Development Tax<\/a><\/li>\n<li>The project must be located in Orange County<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>County staff will hold an initial grant application information session for interested organizations on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 201 S. Rosalind Ave., Orlando, Fl. 32801, at 4 p.m. in the Office of Management and Budget\u2019s conference room on the third floor. Orange County staff will provide support to prospective applicants throughout the application period. The <a href=\"http:\/\/netapps.ocfl.net\/Mod\/meetings\/13\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tourist Development Tax Application Review Committee<\/a> reviews Tourist Development Tax grant applications and makes recommendations to the <a href=\"http:\/\/netapps.ocfl.net\/Mod\/meetings\/11\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tourist Development Council<\/a> with a final decision made by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocfl.net\/BoardofCommissioners.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Board of County Commissioners<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, please visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocfl.net\/OpenGovernment\/BoardsAndSpecialDistricts\/AdvisoryBoardsCalendar.aspx?m=lstvw&amp;c=2%7C860\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">County Calendar<\/a>.\u00a0 Applicants are also encouraged to contact County staff prior to submitting an application so that all questions regarding their application can be addressed.\u00a0 Please contact Vanan Hampton at 407-836-5572 to schedule an appointment.<\/p>\n<p>For cultural tourism and sports events and projects under $2 million, the County also provides annual funding through two separate competitive processes.
