Demings\u2019 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocfl.net\/housingforall\"><strong>Housing for All<\/strong> Task Force<\/a> final meeting will be Friday, November 15, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Orange County Administration Center. The Task Force will provide its final recommendations, including an action plan with a draft report that will be discussed and approved by the Task Force. This will be the final step before going to the Board of County Commissioners for a vote of acceptance of the recommendations before the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The 38-member <strong>Housing for All<\/strong> Task Force reflected Orange County\u2019s tremendous diversity and talent, and included representatives from all six Orange County Commission Districts, leaders from non-profit organizations and major regional employers, local homebuilders, industry associations, community partners, and financial institutions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Mayor Demings\u2019 vision for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocfl.net\/NeighborsHousing\/HousingForAll.aspx\">Housing for All<\/a> Task Force was to develop solutons for the growing housing crisis, with the mission of expanding housing options for Orange County residents.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The draft final report and summary of recommendations will be available on the <strong>Housing for All<\/strong> webpage at: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocfl.net\/HousingForAll\">www.ocfl.net\/HousingForAll<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The entire <strong>Housing for All<\/strong> Task Force meeting will be available through Orange TV and Orange County\u2019s Twitter and Facebook; a live broadcast will also be available. A link to the meeting is located on the Orange County Government\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocfl.net\/OpenGovernment\/OrangeTVVisionTV\/OrangeTVLive.aspx\">website<\/a>.<strong>\u00a0A news conference will be held immediately following adjournment of the meeting. The conference could begin as early as 3 p.m. or late as 4 p.m. \u2013depending on the discussion\u00a0and\/or public comments. The news conference will take place in the first floor lobby of the County Administration Center.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>WHEN:<\/strong> Friday, November 15, 2019 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.\u2013 Meeting Time<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHERE<\/strong>: Orange County Administration Center, Commission Chambers \u2013 First Floor, 201 S. Rosalind Ave. in downtown Orlando.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHO: <\/strong>Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings, Task Force Co-Chairs Allen E. Keen and Terry Prather as well as Sub-Committee Chairs.
