Rosalind Ave., 1<sup>st<\/sup> Floor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Orlando, FL 32801<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Rights of the Wekiva River and Econlockhatchee River Subcommittee Report<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Orange County 2020 Charter Review Commission (CRC) Rights of the Wekiva River and Econlockhatchee River Subcommittee will present a first reading of its final report containing its recommendation to the CRC and Orange County residents.<\/p>\n<p>After careful consideration of the information presented, the Rights of the Wekiva River and Econlockhatchee River Subcommittee voted to recommend a change to the Orange County Charter be made with respect to prohibiting pollution of the Wekiva River, Econlockhatchee River and all other waters of Orange County.<\/p>\n<p>The Rights of the Wekiva River and Econlockhatchee River Subcommittee is scheduled to present its final report for second reading to the full CRC and Orange County residents on March 4, 2020. At this meeting, the CRC will vote on whether to accept the subcommittee\u2019s recommendation. The public is invited to attend and be heard at both meetings. The subcommittee also voted to recommend no amendments to the Orange County Charter be made with respect to whether the Board of County Commissioners are full or part-time officers.<\/p>\n<p>The Number and Composition of County Commission Districts Subcommittee is scheduled to present its final report for second reading to the full CRC and Orange County residents on March 4, 2020. The subcommittee also voted to recommend no amendments to the Orange County Charter be made with respect to the creation of an Ethics Commission separate from the Ethics Advisory Board that currently is provided for under the Orange County Ethics Code.<\/p>\n<p>The Ethics Concerning Lobbyists Subcommittee is scheduled to present its final report for second reading to the full CRC and Orange County residents on March 4, 2020.
