(February 28, 2020) <\/strong>Central Florida\u2019s well-known modeling, simulation and training industry is getting a new neighbor.<\/p>\n<p>Virginia-based Command Post Technologies announced today they are starting a significant expansion into the Central Florida area, starting as a soft-landing client of UCF\u2019s Research Park Innovation District.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Research Park region of Central Florida is internationally-known, and we decided it would be critical for our growth to establish a physical presence near many of our existing clients in the Research Park where we can contribute our experience and knowledge of best practices to cybersecurity infrastructure initiatives that are planned and executed in the region,\u201d says Scott Bisciotti, president &amp; CEO, Command Post Technologies. \u201cWe also see this realm of training our cyber soldiers as a critical mission with significant growth in the coming years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Command Post Technologies was founded in 2008 as a service-disabled veteran-owned business, specializing in Cyber Operations, Joint Test &amp; Evaluation (JT&amp;E), Leadership Development, and Training &amp; Exercise Support.<\/p>\n<p>In 2013, the company was named one of the 500 fastest growing companies in the country by Inc. Magazine and currently has 80 employees in locations across 10 states.<\/p>\n<p>The Orlando office will open with four employees to start and will expand up to 25 employees over the next two years. The jobs will be focused on high-end specialized network and cyber engineering services with a salary range from $75,000 to $150,000.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen companies like Command Post Technologies come to Orange County to create jobs, it is proof our region\u2019s efforts in this industry are successful,\u201d says Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings. \u201cWe\u2019ve worked hard to diversify our economy and having programs like the UCF Innovation Districts work to bring new businesses here and contributes to growing our economy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Much of the focus for the MS&amp;T industry has been developing ways to replace live-fire training in simulated environments.
