After careful consideration of the information presented, the Permanent Funding of Green PLACE Subcommittee voted to recommend that no amendments to the Orange County Charter be made with respect to Permanent Funding of Green PLACE and that the CRC issue a report advising and recommending the BCC utilize current mechanisms and funding structures to acquire environmentally sensitive lands and reestablish the County\u2019s ad-hoc committee for Green PLACE.<\/p>\n

The Permanent Funding of Green PLACE Subcommittee is scheduled to present its final report for second reading to the full CRC and Orange County residents on May 14, 2020. At this meeting, the CRC will vote on whether to accept the subcommittee\u2019s recommendations. The public is invited to attend and be heard at both meetings.
