Additional County statistics include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CDC level of community transmission: HIGH<\/li>\n<li>Total positive cases for Orange County residents: 227,004<\/li>\n<li>Total deaths in Orange County: 2,000<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nUPCOMING VACCINATION OPPORTUNITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ocfl.net\/EmergencySafety\/Coronavirus\/VaccineInformation\/VaccinationSites.aspx\">Camping World Stadium<\/a> is open on weekends, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., to administer first and second doses of the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, residents can visit a mobile vaccination unit or the #IGotMyShot Mobile Vaccination Trailer at a community location near them. For a list of upcoming mobile vaccination events, visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocfl.net\/IGotMyShot\">ocfl.net\/IGotMyShot<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>COVID-19 BOOSTERS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a reminder, Orange County Health Services Department is now administering Pfizer booster shots to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/vaccines\/booster-shot.html\">eligible individuals<\/a> at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ocfl.net\/EmergencySafety\/Coronavirus\/VaccineInformation\/VaccinationSites.aspx\">Camping World Stadium<\/a>. Residents who are receiving their booster are required to bring their COVID-19 vaccination record card\/form.<\/p>\n<p>According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/vaccines\/booster-shot.html\">Centers for Disease Control<\/a>, at this time, the Pfizer booster authorization only applies to people whose primary 2-dose series was the Pfizer vaccine. If your household is behind on rent payments, Orange County may be able to help. Eligible residents can receive up to 12 months of past due rent, and up to one month of future rent, up to a total of $20,000. As of Thursday, September 23, 2021, $9.3 million have been distributed to keep 1,663 families in their homes.<\/p>\n<p>Residents can visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ocfl.net\/RentalAssistance\">ocfl.net\/RentalAssistance<\/a> to review program details, required documents, frequently asked questions and to check if their address is eligible.<\/p>\n<p><strong>REDISTRICTING <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Every 10 years the Florida Constitution and the Orange County Charter calls for a reconfiguration of political boundaries. As the latest census was completed by the U.S. Census Bureau in 2020, Orange County must complete its decennial redistricting process by March 2022.
