Each year, Orange County distributes funding to 501(c)(3) health and human service nonprofit organizations that are located and offer services in Orange County.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the Orange County Board of County Commissioners tasked Forefront, LLC, an independent Florida-based consulting, research and advisory firm, to provide recommendations for the utilization of funding earmarked for children\u2019s programs and services in Orange County.<\/p>\n<p>Forefront, LLC has published a final report outlining focus areas for targeted services of Juvenile Prevention\/Diversion, Mental and Physical Health, Early Childhood Education\/Care and Child\/Student Homelessness. The report recommended that programming to address the identified focus areas, be primarily targeted in nine (9) zip codes in Orange County: 32703, 32801, 32805, 32808, 32810, 32811, 32818, 32822, and 32839. You may find the entire report by visiting <a href=\"http:\/\/www.orangecountycss.org\/\">www.orangecountycss.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Citizens\u2019 Review Panel for Human Services Advisory Board (CRP) will accept and evaluate funding proposals from 501(c)(3) health and human services organizations offering services, for at least one (1) year. The CRP will then make funding recommendations to the Orange County Board of County Commissioners. This funding allows nonprofit organizations to provide vital services to children, youth and their families in Orange County.<\/p>\n<p>There are two (2) categories of funding for agencies \u2013 General CRP (GCRP) Requests for Proposals and Small-Scale CRP (SSCRP) Requests for Proposals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><u>General CRP Request for Proposal Agencies<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This category is open to all local health and human services 501(c)(3) nonprofit agencies located and offering services in Orange County. Agencies must have provided services for at least one (1) year and meet all other funding eligibility requirements to be considered for funding.
