Demings is announcing the reconvening of the Citizens Safety Task Force in response to the recent gun violence taking place in Orange County last month.<\/p>\n<p>The Task Force meeting will take place on March 31, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. The location is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orangecountyfl.net\/cultureparks\/parks.aspx?m=dtlvw&amp;d=102\">Silver Star Recreation Center Orlando Magic Gymnasium<\/a>. The purpose of the meeting is for task force members to review the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ocfl.net\/Portals\/0\/Library\/Board%20Of%20County%20Commissioners\/docs\/CitizensSafetyTaskForce\/OC_Citizens_Safety_task_Force_Report-%20FINAL.pdf\">2021 Task Force Report<\/a> along with the approved recommendations.<\/p>\n<p>The goal will be to ensure the recommendations continue to meet the public safety needs of the community.
