\"OrangeWHAT:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Orange County Government has introduced Orange County Small Business BOOST \u2013 a new program offering grants for small businesses, home-based businesses, and gig workers, that are valued at up to $10,000, $3,000 and $1,400 respectively.<\/p>\n

These cash grants will extend vital support to the small business community that was severely impacted by COVID-19. Program guidelines and application information is currently available at ocfl.net\/BOOST<\/a>, with the application going live on Tuesday, July 18. Funds will be awarded to qualifying applicants on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are depleted.<\/p>\n

For business owners and gig workers who may need additional assistance in completing their application, Orange County is hosting educational events. Set for Monday, July 17, the first educational event will be a webinar \u2013 the two that follow will be in-person events.<\/p>\n

The Orange County Small Business BOOST program provides grants to eligible small businesses, home-based businesses and gig workers that were impacted by COVID-19. The grants do not have to be repaid. While the pandemic may be over, the negative consequences are still being felt. Small businesses, home-based businesses and gig workers that can demonstrate a 25% decline in revenue* during the pandemic may apply. Funds will be awarded to qualifying applicants on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are depleted.<\/p>\n

*The decline in revenue must exceed the total amount of any federal, state, or local grants received by the applicant.<\/em><\/p>\n
