Orange County, Fla. <\/strong>\u2013 Orange County will break ground on two adjacent affordable housing communities in Apopka on Thursday, May, 22, at 9:00 am. Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings will attend to celebrate the start of construction on The Mira and The Stillwaters.<\/p>\n

Groundbreaking ceremonies will take place at the construction site located at 1277 Plymouth Sorrento Rd, Apopka, FL 32712. The news media is invited to gather photos, video, and interviews.<\/p>\n

Mayor Demings will deliver remarks about the projects that support the Mayor\u2019s \u201cHousing for All\u201d initiative, which prioritizes short and long-term solutions to address the affordable housing crisis. For more information, visit Housing For All<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Developed by Dominium, The Stillwaters will include 180 affordable units for seniors 62 and over, while The Mira will provide 300 affordable units for families.<\/p>\n
