\"\"Orange County, FL<\/strong> \u2013 The 2025 Mid-Decennial Redistricting Advisory Committee, which is charged with making recommendations for the expansion of the Orange County Commission from six to eight districts, will meet Monday, August 18, at 6:00 p.m<\/strong>. Tonight, the Committee will consider amendments to redistricting maps that have previously been accepted for further discussion and review.<\/p>\n

The meeting takes place in the Orange County Administration Building, Commission Chambers, 201 S. Rosalind Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801.<\/p>\n

Using a data-driven approach, the committee is evaluating current district boundaries, exploring alternatives, and recommending the creation of two new commission districts for the Orange County Board of County Commissioners.<\/p>\n

The Redistricting Advisory Committee will present its final recommendation to the Board for a vote in September 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n
