\"\"WHAT:
\n<\/strong>Orange County Arts & Cultural Affairs, in partnership with the Black History Committee of Orange County, Inc<\/a>., presents Art in the Atrium, featuring \u201cSoft Structures for Holding Ourselves\u201d by Tasanee Durrett<\/a>.<\/p>\n

An opening reception will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, in the Atrium Gallery at the Orange County Administration Center. \u201cSoft Structures for Holding Ourselves\u201d will be on display through February 26, 2026. The Administration Center is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., excluding holidays.<\/p>\n

According to Durrett<\/a>, \u201cMy practice of working across mixed-media painting and sculpture allows me to explore identity, lineage, and psychological healing within the Black diaspora. Using layered compositions that merge Black figures with flora, abstract forms, and architectural linework, I develop a visual language of mind, body, and spirit.\u201d<\/p>\n
