All proceeds will benefit Heart of Florida United Way, Central Florida\u2019s most comprehensive health and human services charity and the largest regional provider of funds to critical health and human services programs.<\/p>\n<p>Registration is now open. To register online, visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.OCUW5K.eventbrite.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.OCUW5K.eventbrite.com<\/a>. The entry fee for children 14 and under is $10. For ages 15 and up, the fee is as follows: $20 from now to November 15, $25 November 16 to 21, and $30 on the day of the race. Children in strollers are free.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOrange County Parks and Recreation is pleased to team up with Orange County Utilities to present this year\u2019s 5K to benefit the Heart of Florida United Way,\u201d said Matt Suedmeyer, Orange County Parks and Recreation Manager. \u201cChapin Station on the West Orange Trail in Winter Garden is a beautiful backdrop for citizens to run or walk and help our neighbors through United Way at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The event will be timed with radio frequency identification device chips placed in participants\u2019 bibs. Awards will be given to the top male and female overall and to the top three male and female finishers in each of the specified age groups.
