El 13.° Evento Anual Barktoberfest Regresa a Lake Eola el 25 de octubre de 2026
Orange County, FL – Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) today announced the return of Barktoberfest on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Lake Eola. The 13th annual event celebrates the partnerships OCAS has with the animal rescue community bringing together adoptable pets, local pet-focused businesses and animal lovers while highlighting the important role rescue organizations play in finding homes for pets in need.
"Barktoberfest is our biggest event of the year," said Diane Summers, division manager of Orange County Animal Services. "I'm incredibly proud of how this event has grown and how it continues to showcase our rescue partners and the incredible lifesaving work they do."
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet a variety of adoptable pets from participating rescue organizations, including dogs and cats of different breeds, ages and sizes. OCAS clinic staff will also provide free vaccinations and microchipping for dogs and cats belonging to Orange County residents, with some exclusions. The event will also feature local pet-related businesses, organizations and other activities throughout the afternoon.
"This is the perfect event for anyone who is looking to adopt a pet, already has a pet or simply loves animals," said Summers. "Every pet adopted through one of our rescue partners helps create an opportunity for another shelter pet to find a home. With adoptable pets, pet-related vendors and plenty of fun for the whole family, Barktoberfest truly is an event you won't want to miss."
